Wynnum Boys’ Brigade is part of a worldwide network that has been successfully operating children and youth programs for 130 years. Providing young people with a mix of fun, adventure and challenge, BB mentors and empowers each member to reach for their potential, building their resilience and enabling them to find their place in leading and impacting their world today and into the future. With a Christian foundation, Boys’ Brigade has a proven track record for reaching out to the local community providing balanced 4-sided developmental programs (Physical, Spiritual, Educational and Social) for young people of all backgrounds, abilities and interests, BB broadens their horizons and skills with local, national and international recognition for their achievements.
Our achievement & badge work schemes are developed around a four-sided program of Social, Education, Physical and Spiritual inputs, and we strive to provide a balanced and challenging range of activities. It also includes special activities outside of a Tuesday Night such as Church Parades, camps, inter-company (Battalion) competitions, ANZAC Day Parade and various other activities, in addition to the weekly meeting nights.

Anchor Boys (Anchors) – Ages 5 to 7
Anchor Boys provides is a structured program that runs from 6:45pm to 8:15pm on Tuesday nights during school term. The program is structured to appeal and hold the boys attention, while teaching them new skills in Physical, Educational, Social and Spiritual areas of life.
Cost: $100/ 12 months (4 terms at $25 per term)

Juniors (Juniors) – Ages 8 to 11
Juniors have a program which runs between 6:45pm and 8:15pm on Tuesday nights during school term. The boys will meet new friends and start doing things that are fun and educational. The boys have opportunity to attend competitions with other companies, they also have the chance to earn “Achievement” badges – up to eight in total. How they earn these will depend on how well they personally improve.
Cost: $120/ 12 months (4 terms at $30 per term)

Seniors (Alphas + Omegas) – Ages 12 to 18
Seniors have a program which runs between 6:45pm and 9:15pm on Tuesday nights during school term. There are plenty of opportunities through the weekly program to have fun, become great friends with others, develop leadership skills, work well in a team, learn different types of activities, earn badges (including Duke of Edinburgh Award if they wish), and develop practical skills. They also go on Camps and Expeditions.
They meet boys from other companies around the state – at camps, sporting & other competitions, as well as social events. Boys can also achieve the highest award in Boys’ Brigade which is the Queen’s Award.
