About CVS

The object of the Community Visitors Scheme is to provide one on one volunteer visitors to residents of Australian Government funded aged care home, who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and compassion.

We were established in 1992 and have over 100 volunteer visitors providing friendship and compassions with residents in 16 residential care homes.

The scheme operates throughout Australia.
